5 Steps to Graduation

1. Meet with an academic advisor to ensure all degree requirements are met.
2. You will submit your official RSVP for the Commencement Ceremony within your degree application.
   

   Spring 2025 Undergraduate and Graduate Students

   If you would like to walk in the May 2025 Ceremony, please be sure to apply for your degree on MavLINK by Friday, March 7, 2025 before ordering your cap & gown!
   

   Summer 2025 Undergraduates

   If you would like to walk in the May 2025 Ceremony, please be sure to apply for your degree on MavLINK by Friday, March 7, 2025 before ordering your cap & gown!
   Please Note: Undergraduate students may walk in the May 2025 or December 2025 Ceremony. Graduate students may walk in the December 2025 Ceremony.


3. Order your Cap & Gown Online immediately after applying for your degree. Deadline to order your cap and gown will be Friday, May 2, 2025.
4. Connect with the UNO Alumni Network and explore the benefits of your free, lifelong UNO Alumni Association membership.
5. Attend UNO Commencement on Friday, May 16, 2025.

LIFE AFTER UNO

Life After UNO is a professional and personal development program for students designed to help Mavericks excel as official UNO alumni. Whether you are a freshman preparing in advance or a senior applying for your first job, Life After UNO can help you successfully navigate your next steps.

Sessions are open to all UNO students and are FREE to attend.

Navigating Your First Home Purchase

11:30 A.M. - 1:00 P.M.

Angel Starks, President and CEO of Locale Real Estate Services, will guide you through the essentials of home buying including financial tips, finding the right home, the home buying process and how to avoid common pitfalls.

Lunch is included. RSVP is required as space is limited.

FOREVER MAVERICK GRADUATION CELEBRATION

May 15
4:30 P.M. - 6:30 P.M.

To welcome you to the UNO Alumni Association, you and two guests are invited to celebrate your graduation and official status as a Forever Maverick! This event is free for December 2024 and May 2025 graduates, plus two guests.

Enjoy appetizers and sip on a Cap & Tassel Cooler while playing yard games or shopping The Maverick Store Pop-up Shop. Learn about your free, lifelong UNO Alumni Association membership by completing a treasure hunt for prizes, and capture the memories in our photo booth.
