Our Grad Expo is more than an Event... it's a Journey into the Next Chapter of Life.
Thursday, March 27, 2025 | 10 A.M. - 5 P.M. | Highlighting Various Vendors
Take care of all your graduation needs in a one-stop shopping experience at The Maverick Store’s Graduation Expo! The Grad Expo is designed to save students (and parents) time. This is your chance to complete many things on your graduation checklist.
- Buy your UNO branded cap and gown, and tassel. Your ticket to commencement.
- Order your graduation announcements, note cards, and other branded stationery through Jostens.
- Commemorate your special accomplishment with unique graduation jewelry, diploma frames, uplomas, and fine gifts. All will be featured at the Expo.
- Vendors will highlight information and you will be entered into drawings for big giveaways. We will have 25 doorbusters and 3 grand prizes valued at $200.
- Win prizes and enjoy special discounts on featured graduation merchandise. Need we say more?
- Be involved in the experience and prepare to be a New UNO Alum!
5 Steps to Graduation
- Meet with an academic advisor to ensure all degree requirements are met.
- You will submit your official RSVP for the Commencement Ceremony within your degree application.

LIFE AFTER UNO
Life After UNO is a professional and personal development program for students designed to help Mavericks excel as official UNO alumni. Whether you are a freshman preparing in advance or a senior applying for your first job, Life After UNO can help you successfully navigate your next steps. Sessions are open to all UNO students and are FREE to attend.
Discover & Develop Your Greatest Strengths
March 26 2:30 P.M. - 4:00 P.M.
Thompson Alumni Center | 6705 Dodge St, Omaha, NE 68182In this session led by CliftonStrengths Coach Lauren Hines, you will learn how to apply your unique strengths in various aspects of life, including career planning and personal development. The program will provide insights into how your top five strengths can be utilized to navigate life after UNO with confidence and purpose.
RSVP is required as space is limited. After registering, you will be invited to take the Gallup CliftonStrengths assessment to uncover your top five strengths.
Navigating Your First Home Purchase
April 21 11:30 A.M. - 1:00 P.M.
Milo Bail Student Center BallroomAngel Starks, President and CEO of Locale Real Estate Services, will guide you through the essentials of home buying including financial tips, finding the right home, the home buying process and how to avoid common pitfalls.
Lunch is included. RSVP is required as space is limited.
